Welcome to my trave blog. In this edition, I will share with you about my delightful journey to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India. This enchanting destination is renowned for its unparalleled beauty, vibrant culture, and historical significance. We started our journey to Kanyakumari from Rameswaram by taking a TNSTC bus at 9:30pm. We reached Kanyakumari around 4 am in morning. We took a hotel in early morning and after freshen up, we headed towards Sunrise point to see morning sunrise at sea at Triveni Sangam. This is the point where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean converge, creating a breathtaking sight. Day 1: Arrival to Rishikesh We reached nearest airport to Rishikesh which is Dehradun. From there we took a taxi which costed us 1100 rupees for 4 people, and it took us 1.5 hours to reach Rishikesh from Dehradun airport.  We had prebooked dormitory in live free hostel which costed us 600 rupees/day basis. Join me on a virtual journey as I recount my memorable trip to Thanjavur, a city that truly captures the essence of South Indian culture. Day 0: Depart from Bangalore I started my journey from Bengaluru at Friday night 9:30 pm bus taken from Kalsipalayam bus stop in Bengaluru. It was SRS travelers sleeper bus which costed me around 900 rupees. I opened my window to get good breeze with my earbuds full of travel songs.  Our bus stopped for 20 minutes for a short break at stop at 11:00 pm and I got some snacks there.
